Cedar is great kindling and despite the snap crackle and pop, it's my personal favorite. Smells great too. However, cedar posts can also be pretty valuable for people looking to add rail fences to landscaping projects. Might be worth looking to see if there is a market in your area. Sounds like you have enough to spare
Why change them out? Were they in bad deteriorating shape? White cedar is what is used for kindling around these parts.
