    I have a some big tulip poplars on my place. It almost unreal how straight and tall they grow. Just wish the firewood was little better..

    I've never seen one. I believe you won't find one growing naturally any further east than the western parts of Rhode Island and the western part of Massachusetts.

    Yep that's true, but it's better than a lot of wood, IMO. Splits easy, dries quick. Burns fairly well in my Fisher stove at my shop. Good shoulder season wood or mix it in and make the best wood stretch farther.
