I just made a trip up to the attic to put some Christmas gifts up there. Haven't been up in a while. Saw a few water drops on a box, looked up to see the enter northern side is soaking wet from condensation, and mostly black with mold now.

Just what I needed to see. Not sure wtf is causing this.

Looks like you picked a good game!

That place is on my bucket list. Mostly for the tailgating and BBQ, but also to know what a real stadium sounds like (spoiled Pats fans make NO noise)

    Mold.. not good.
    :zip:

We get issues with it here, as it's cinderblock, and drainage on backside of house is poor.

BIL works in mold remediation as well as asbestos removal. He says "Shockwave" is the best product to kill mold off. Says it can be gotten at the box stores (HD, Lowe's).

Canadian border VT no snow on the roof. No snow left here for a few weeks now.

Chaz thanks for the recommendation. I'll keep that in mind for once I get this issue figured out.

Bathroom exhaust vents are routed up the the attic on that side, dont believe they penetrate the roof though. Pretty sure all plumbing vents are on the south side. Gonna go verify though.

Actually now that I think of it, the chimney is on that side. Maybe the flashing is leaking.

Just went up and looked. Chimney is the only penetration on that side, but its wet from one side to the other. Looks like I have an exhaust leak on one of the bathroom exhaust vents, but when I was up earlier, I could see actual drips coming through the knots in the plywood in a few spots. Could it really be getting that wet on just one side from a bathroom exhaust leaking a bit?

You need to hit lambeau field up for a game as well. If you're heading that far east, you might as well get to Green Bay.

Bathroom exhaust could be pumping plenty of moisture from shower, easily condensed under these cold temps.

That's not as bad as putting the tree in the front passengers seat of a Chrysler Lebaron convertible with the top down in 25° weather. My buddy had the idea and it was his car. I sat in the back seat and the tree rode shotgun. I put the seat belt on it, so it was safe.
