After Lego and SpongeBob with the grandson yesterday, I'm ready to get stuff done! A little maple to split and stack, to free up space for the oak I got last weekend, which needs to be cut up.

Remember Jon. A man should be able to whip his son at least until he is 16! Please tell him congratulations from me. I remember him from up at Brian's.

Helped a man track a deer this morning. I had been sitting here at the computer when suddenly I saw 11 does walk through the yard. About 20 minutes later I got a call from a fellow hunting south of our place. He shot a buck. Said it went down but got back up, ran through the prickly ash, cross the creek and came into our place. So I went back and found him. He had lost the track. I did not find blood so asked him to take me to where he last saw blood. Found the track and tracked it for a long ways. Lost it temporarily a couple times but was able to get back on it. Wished we would have had more snow but there is some anyway. Ended up tracking about 3/4 mile and he never laid down. I don't think it was hurt that bad.

Another board meeting tomorrow so probably won't get any wood cut but hope to be busy with it most of the week.
