IMG_6109.JPG Here she is conveniently looking all cool in front of a stack of larch. Re the avatar... The family and I had brought home a few truck loads of lodgepole pine and piled it in the back yard. We brought out the splitter and got to processing. Everyone was involved. Tundra likes to get in on it and naps on the rounds or will chew on a piece of wood. Bark is the best because you can tear it apart and strew it across the lawn making as big of a mess as possible. We picked her up from a musher years ago who had a kennel in the bush. After chatting at a sled dog race he told us to come visit him and check out the dogs. Our last husky passed away 5 years previous so it was past due to get another one. Both pictures were taken this year at a young age of 8.

If you ever drive up interstate 89 in NH there is a rest area overlooking a scenic view of a valley surrounded by mountains. Inside is an IS with those goofy/awesome moose antlers. I drive up that way often for work and that drive through the mountains of VT is my favorite of any highway.

Mine is the best flag in the world flying over the t-walls on September 11, 2010 at FOB Kalsu Iraq. A friend helped me fly it and get the picture and as soon as we had taken it down and folded it up we got incoming I guess the natives wanted it back up?

My first wood stove- first fire was a couple of months ago. Loving heating w/wood! Now, if it would just cool down for awhile...

A really nice fire on the lakeside beach that I have posted pics from. With the winter winds last year, this site is gone. wiped clean by the high water.

EAB takedown from two years ago. The old 372 still hot from flushing the stump couldn’t pass up the moment with my hard hat in the background sporting the FHC decal.

My favorite dogs laying under the tree. The Lab used to carry firewood from the trailer to the stack until he had enough of that then he would grab a chunk of wood and run off to chew it.

It's a trail cam picture of my first buck and first bow kill. Actually got the picture from a guy who hunts the next property over. I finally met him a few years after that then he emailed me the picture. I've always liked that picture ever since

Mine is my Thompson Center .58 Big Bore and my Mac 125 and Pro Mac 700 out for a day of cutting some big stuff during the muzzle loader deer season in Wisconsin. I did not fire a shot but it was a great day in the woods!!
