    Anyone have one?
    Thoughts ?
Checked them out at HF today and thought they were as good or better quality than even the older Craftsman boxes .

    Haven't pulled the trigger yet.
I don't buy much at HF. Went in for a pair of long handled needle nose and I checked them out.
I was impressed for HF boxes. Need to replace a rolling service cart in my main bay and this is bigger and better quality than what I have.

I have one of the red boxes. Would buy another for sure. I think it's this one plus the chest that goes on top.

My BIL has a bigger roller cabinet of the same type and says it's great. Uses it in a hydraulic shop.

    The black ones are garbage.

I've heard great things about their toolboxes. When the time comes, I'm going to buy one myself....unless I can convince Lista to give me a box that has an issue whenever I end up back at their manufacturing facility.

I have one in my part time job shop, one in my shop at home, and bought 6 of them for the techs at my last job. All of them have been fine and wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. They're not as nice as my SnapOn but still great for the price.

HF boxes are actually good quality, I follow a Facebook page where they are discussed often and also am a member of the garagejournal forum.
They probably have replaced the old craftsman boxes better than the new craftsman stuff.
They also seem to be slightly better than cobalt or Husky.

Personally I make my living with a Lista, but quite a few new guys have HF boxes in the shop, and I'm impressed with the quality

My brothers got that exact box in red and loves it! In fact a certain someone may be buying one or the 4 drawer version soon! Definitely tougher than a lot of the craftsman boxes! I’ve seen them locally at $189

What’s wrong with the black ones? Are they built different?

Check youtube for videos comparing them with Snap On toolboxes. I think you will like what you see.

Way different. The black ones I saw were as cheap as cheap gets.

When I was looking at the U.S. General in the store I gave it a bunch of good shakes and tweeks. I've seen to many cheap boxes that will "rack" and twist. Even some of the newer Craftsman.
I have a 35 YO Craftsman tiered set and the General is as good quality as it is.
    I'm a buyer.

(I got one thing to say.)
You can buy a fancy box or a good box or an economical box.... but the box doesn't fix broken machines.
Spend your hard earned money on the tools needed to do the job or make you money.:handshake:

I like to buy good used stuff, cheap when possible. :dex:

I have one. I got it at a steep discount during a sale. No complaints.

I bought the 44" x 22" base, top box and the side locker(all Red) on the black Friday discount (main box) and everything was $979.00. Both tool boxes have drawer liners already installed and I picked up a roll to cut liners in for the storage locker. It compared well to the Craftsman boxes and seemed liked it had less flex and was very solid. Very happy with my set up and this is a ton of storage for the price.... The base is rated for 2,600lbs, top box will hold 560lbs and the side locker is rated for 280lbs. The blue and black boxes looked good and I didn't notice any difference in the build quality when I was looking.
