    It is where a wood pile is wrapped completely in plastic-including the bottom-and the sun is used for solar gain to shorten the time needed to season wood below the 20% level.

    It was a thread posted a few years back which resulted in strong but opposing opinions on the subject. Ended up going off the rails a bit and included top covering vs. non-top covering of wood piles.

    Not a good memory here...........:picard:

    F250, Crew Cab with 8' box. 6.2 Liter with 4.30 rear end. Load range E Goodyear Duratrac tires. The trailer was custom ordered with the following upgrades:
    Dual 5200# axels with brakes on both
    Cross bracing on 12" centers
    Split, spring assisted rear ramps with knee bracing, good for 7,000#s
    Front gate
    Dovetail

    It's a wood hauler,
