    When you travel several times a month, direct flights save a TON of time. Being here in the middle of the country the longest flight I could physically go on is 4.5 hours...any longer and I'd run out of 'Murica. That's basically your minimum to get anywhere with a connection. I can be in Orlando in 1:45 direct, or 5 hours with a connection...if I'm lucky. 3 hours each way saved 2 or 3 times a month adds up.

    Clear frosty morning again. campinspecter is up and ready to go get firewood this morning. What a way to celebrate his birthday!! Brand new saw, dry sunny day and a person who needs firewood.

    Me, I am heading down to the sewing room to finish my grandson's Christmas present and then off to work.

    hi morning - kinda late, got home about 7pm house was still there. 67f inside, stove still warm to touch and just enough coals to restart- propane furnace set for 65f so another day of pay back on cost of stove and install:).

    wildwest we're so happy that mess worked out in the end. I hope you consider no more auto-pay...

    We had not tried auto pay for a while and decided to try it with another insurance company. That did not last long at all as they drew out the payment about 6 weeks early and then did another one right after that. We of course put a stop to that bull and then the insurance company threatened to cancel us. I said, Okay, do what you think is right but I will not make a payment before it is due and it won't be 6 weeks before it is due. It seemed to me they owed me some interest money...

    Looks like for sure I'll be taking a day off from wood cutting. My body demands it. But it has been nice working in the woods again and with the new saw too.
