Local farm store has bogo on $4.99/bag Superior brand hardwoods made by local producer Marth.

I've used these on and off for years... not a bad pellet... kind of ashy but good heat. At this price I'll buy a ton this week....

Through our first season I tried several “hardwood” pellet offerings.... all but Presto Logs produced some amount of an ash cake. But IIRC, they all produced good heat.

I was never a math major but at $5 a bag a BOGO makes the ton price $125...no?

Been fortunate to have pellet manufacturing close to me in Southeast WI. I do a spring purchase at 179.00/ton all the time. Dejno's has been a consistent product in my unit. I measure heat coming off unit a few times during each season and it's rock solid.
