    What is btdt?

I pay all the credit cards off each month, there to get max rewards on things I buy. I have a USAA Amex to get max cash back on gas since we spend hundreds a month on fuel, I have an amazon CC to get 5% back on prime purchases. Etc etc.

Wife and I both have a car, that's a have too thing. Son goes to school over an hour from my office totally different direction. I also have a 38 year old 4wd that is my hunt truck, wood getter and tow rig if the sequoia doesn't get the call.

    Finally...got back from Minnesota.

Had a great meal at a bbq joint...."Famous Dave's" (with a name like that, what could go wrong?) and picked up a "kindling cracker" for myself-kind of a Christmas gift........(right!)

It was the larger sized one and is sitting in the box just waiting for a test run!

And don't forget two more packs of those pressed sawdust firewood bricks from Menards.

A very heavy box came today. :ups:
474EEBCB-22DA-4039-B6DE-41DAC124E24C.jpeg I’ve been waiting for this. Tire chains for the front of the M59. These will help with snow removal and the big plans I have for cutting some new trails through the woods this winter before the snow gets too deep. (Not a good time to spend the money on them. But I need to be prepared.)

Often you can call and have your due date be a day of your choice. I always choose a week after the 1st of the month because my retirements come in on the 1st. I sit down at the computer and pay them all then. I keep a list that has my access codes and passwords and some dates so I'll remember to switch them over so I don't use the same passwords for any length of time. Not that many, but I'm not late with my payments. I do have a car payment that is automatic, but that was because there was NO interest on the loan. Worth it to play that auto pay thing in that circumstance.

    Oooohhh!!!! A Penny!!!!

My wife calls that show "the show where they don't find anything"

    Lol

I do find it mezmerizing though. Kinda like "Finding Bigfoot" while it was on. Except one night, my wife was actually paying attention to these guys farting around in the woods knocking on trees and whooping it up while I was watching the show, and she said "did they just say 'Bobo'?". It turns out, Bobo went to Humboldt State with her. He actually dated one of her sorority sisters. Bobo actually was the class president. Lol

If you like Bigfoot did you see Survivor man Bigfoot? It had 2 seasons and was yes Les Stroud!! It was real as could be and he presented evidence and had people on his show that were credible. He said he was a man of science and didn't want to believe it but he came across things in his years on the show that could not be explained away. So he decided to do this show for his own info and interest.

Oak Island got the most money from the Canadian government this year. I think it was 3 Million dollars they got this year for the show from the Canadian government. Out of a pot of money for show production and incentive fund or something.

Even though it's a large one, don't be too agressive with it. I split some largish chunks of yew with it, and the blade edge curled back a little. I took it to the local "we sharpen anything" place, and all is good now.

I prefer connections - cannot sit that long. Tried a direct flight to Wichita once and was about ready to ask for a parachute so I could get off my azz!

I have two autopays, cable and cell phone and they go to a credit card. At least I could dispute if something happens like a quadruple billing.

I haven’t watch the show enough to know all the ins and outs. Is Marty the one with the money? I had to guess that with the money they are spending now there had to be SEVERAL types of funding coming in. The channel it’s on, some rich and curious folks/friends, etc.

Caffeine and sugar going in! I’ll take care of a few odds and ends early and then off to work.
