Another day with temps near 30 (maybe better?)

Think maybe a trip to Lake Superior is on tap for this evening!

Supposed to rain all day tomorrow, so I'm going to try and squeeze everything in today, provided I can get princess out of bed so I can get out of the house. Gotta make a dump run, then I have one cord of wood left outside. Gotta fill the wood bin with half of it, then put the remainder away, due to location, its gonna have to get tossed over the fence into the Bronco, stack, then repeat....then driven around back. Too many steps!

Gonna play with my backpack blower that my dad bought me for Christmas after that. Should be plenty of time, I just prefer to take my time and enjoy the outdoors alone when I can.

Made it here around 9 last night. Met up with my cousin and his family from Oklahoma. Had a great late night catching up. Looking forward to the rest of the day.

The guessers say it will rain a lot today with temps right around freezing. Then ice and then snow. We've got a whole lot of nothing planned today. Letting the wife sleep in with the dogs, while I'm out by the stove watching basswood get turned into a couple btu's. I think she hs eggs benedict planned for brunch, or whenever she wakes up.

Maybe, just maybe I'll get out with the saw and run a tank out on the remaining ash "sticks" that need to be shortened into 17" pieces. oh yeah, then there's more garage cleaning to do. my favorite.:(

That's funny Schlot. I laugh too at my friend who comes out deer hunting. If he gets a deer I usually pick it up with the atv and trailer. Most times you have to back up the trailer a time or three getting through the woods and backing up to get the deer. He is simply amazed as he's never seen anyone, evidently, who can back up a trailer.

TurboDiesel is another one who is good at backing up a trailer.

I don't understand why backing trailers up is such an issue for some people. It's easy. I see idiots struggle with the this atboat launch for over half the year.

You don't have any Red Robin's by you Dennis?

They are not all over our state, but there's enough of them.

Well, the first day of December and I just about finished painting the south side of the house in a t-shirt and vest. It was clear and sunny. We are supposed to have a few more good days next week to wrap up outside projects. Rain is expected tomorrow.

I could not find a decent door to go on my daughters closet. It is an old house and no door is standard here.

I ended up making a double door that does not stick out into the room like a full width door. The doors are just 1" x 4" fj primed pine with pocket screws joining them together with a 5/16" dado let in the stiles with 1/4" panels. They are very lightweight but solid.

It was definitely a nice tray to be working outside. As soon as the sun was behind the trees that thought changed though. I hate this 4PM sunset crap. Makes it.so hard to get anything done when I need to let my wife sleep in.
