Yep, you betcha. These are so inexpensive, we quit growing them. At 19 cents/can, hard to pass up, and they taste good too. We had another case of peas too, but we ate those. Local grocery has them on sale (house brand) fairly often, so we stock up.

I haven't been in an IGA Foodliner since I lived in Wareham. 19ยข is pretty cheap. Even not on sale growing your own after you figure your time and effort isn't always any savings . But you know what pesticides and how much glyphosate isn't on/in them. We have a deep cabinet over the fridge that is the same depth as the fridge. Talk about stuff retiring back there ! I moved cans from several spots to a temporary shelf to come up with less deep shelves someplace too. I'm not even a fan of canned vegetables but it's nice to have a stockpile of something for if the power goes out or you get three feet of snow and you're not going anywhere for a while. Just gotta watch the date codes. Lately I've been marked the date purchased with a sharpie.
For sure. With the old pantry, we'd find stuff at the back that was quite out of date that ended up getting tossed. Hopefully that won't happen now.
