If you guys knew how many 2" to 6" Black Walnut saplings I have murdered in the last three days you would put me in an intervention. I know they are to thick I know they need to be thinned I know they need to be sacrified in order to produce veneer logs but gol darnit it is really hard to whack a young black walnut I need a hug and several beers,,,
Ok I just had a shower and popped a Spotted Cow. I'll be ok. Starting to feel better. Those little trees all they wanted to do was grow and then I come by and whack em. The squirrells sure do a good job planting walnuts. To good!
I have that issue when I need to thin out seedlings that I started for veggie garden. I usually can't do it. I know the remaining plants would grow bigger and stronger, and probably produce more, but darn I just feel like they deserve life
Very excited. Tomorrow after work we will be heading down to Winchester,Il for my grandma's 90th birthday party on Saturday. Get to see my cousins and Aunt from Chelsea,Claremore Oklahoma and their families. Been almost 3 years since we have seen them.
Yeah, I love truck shaming all the wannabes that soccer mom it up in their full size pick-ups. I load up the v8 allroad all the time. I truck shamed the neighbor that drove by my loaded up Audi as I was getting in to leave to go home. He was in a 2014 or so GMC 2500 diesel crew. Soon enough though, I'll just be another "guy in a truck". Granted, I'll at least use my truck to haul unlike most of the wannabes.
A few of us took our kids to see the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City. Took the train down to the city, I asked them if I can have the tree after they are done with it..perfect night to walk around the city. I'm glad I dont have commute there for work. Too many damm people
And they buy a small trailer to haul their trash bags to the dump - then hog up all the parking spaces in front of the dumpster because they can't back the truck/trailer combo in.
