    The fly in the ointment is the Alder gets punky fast. I’m out of room in my wood sheds so will have to stack outside through the Winter.
    I really don’t mind burning it as our house isn’t very large, temps here for the most part stay above freezing. It just burns quick and people needing a longer burn time don’t like it.
    But all in all it’s still fun and good exercise, plus as noted, no limbs to deal with.
    The little Shindaiwa 500 likes this weather and has been running great.
