I don't like wings with Frank's or Texas Pete's, too vinegary.

Same here. I like the sweet heat, Asian style, or other types though. I just don't like heat, without flavor.

Only saw three deer in the warm 47 degree woods today. Lots of snow went bye-bye. Overnight (starting very soon) the rains will move in and that'll really knock down the remaining snow.

Tomorrows hunt will be a real mess!

This is a cart that we got about 2 years ago from tractor supply. All the sides do come off. We use it to bring wood in that is stacked on the front porch. This load Chaz brought in. Mine normally about to the top of the cart. Love it.

That's funny you mention the cart.

I used mine today as well. I can bring in 2-3 days or so worth of wood in one cart.

I brought up some sugar maple and shagbark, unloaded that, and figured I'd try a split or 2 of the silver maple I split this summer. As I was getting that from my lower pile, a neighbor flagged me down. He asked me if I wanted any more wood. Yeah I do.

So he gave me this crabapple he cut down.

Pretty much a full load, that will be a couple of days of heat about 2 seasons from now.

I also unloaded the trailer that I had the big Ash rounds I had loaded and hauled before I went to Hawaii.

I'll need to get the splitter over here and get the ash and this crabapple split.

The neighbor will have some poplar and balsam fir taken down. So he'll let me know when I can take that wood. I told him I'll take as much wood as I can get.

She missed a stack in her pics, this was unoaded off of the same cartload.

One of my cartloads lasts between 4-5 days, to 2 weeks depending on the weather.

If the chimney area is filled, we can easily stack a months worth of wood inside.

If I loaded my cart that full, it would've tipped over. II had to go over a few hills. You must have a flat area to tow it from.

I think our carts are nearly identical, aside from the convertible handle and the different green color.

    ;)
Well that cart is rated for up to 800 lbs.
We actually used it to move the new stove.

I hate to waste a trip.

Also, check your tire pressure. I had less than 800 lbs in mine and I pinched a tube, wrecking that one. My psi was a little low and I didn't air them up before hauling rounds from the woods.:loco: :headbang:

Trying to get a tube in a non split rim that small is a pita. I see yours has split rims, which will help if you even punch a tube.

Home safe and sound. Unpacked the truck first. Said goodnight to kids and wife. And now a cold beer, or three (after that drive!) and while getting the wood boiler, buffer tank, and entire system heated up with firewood! Great to be home!

    Glad you're home safe Gasifier

Horkn no split rims, they bolt to a hub assembly. But I do need to top off some tire pressures.

The 2 replacement ones I got off of Amazon are split rims. I was thinking of making the cart a dually with those split rims by using spacers and longer bolts to add stability when tiring it behind the ATV. There's just so many other projects though....

Sounds like a very reasonable plan.

Not sure if it would squeeze in the door as a dually.

Same here. Don't get me wrong, I like a decent amount of heat, but if there is no flavor to go along with it then there isn't any point but trying to impress others.

I'm surprised to see the pond skimmed over with ice this morning. Probably gonna melt with the temps the next few days, but man this is a strange weather pattern for this time of year!
