Cooked some Irish stew yesterday and browning the pork splattered all over the stove. The stew is great but the stove looks awful. Any suggestions on cleaning? Don't want to ruin it. By the way how do you keep the stove hot enough to brown meat or onions without cooking yourself out of the house?
Lucy I can't help on that one my stovetop is currently about six hundred degrees. Going to single digits here..
I put some coconut oil on my stove after a little scrubbing from bacon fat splatters. Doesn’t always stay but it helped from time to time as the stove cooled during a warm stall. This was the stove I had before moving .
