I found this article being suggested to me by Google when I opened a new tab on my phone. Apparently Google thinks I have a wood burning problem too. How long until the UK bans wood burning? I'm glad I live in the good old USA. Wood-burning stoves emit six times as much pollution as diesel truck.
Right? If you read the article they say they dont want to tell people what they should or shouldn't do in their own homes and then proceed to tell people what they should and shouldn't do in their own homes
I find that number hard to believe simply based on the fact that you can often see the particulate emissions from a diesel. I new stove when warmed up, nothing... Eh, I could be wrong. Without reading the article I should just stop commenting.
They do mention about wood smoke being invisible but according to the "research" that makes it more dangerous. Now electric and gas heat is completely and totally safe according to the article.

The only way to fix this is a new tax. It's for the good of the children. Now... Next we fix wildfires! and volcanoes!....and lightning!! Lightning must be outlawed immediately!
I hate to burst your bubble but that one was not only legitimate but the chemical in the hair spray ... The propellant, was phased out.
To be completely "fair", I would not advise anyone to exhaust their woodstove emissions into their house any more than I'd advise them to park a running "clean" emissions Volkswagen in their living room. At the same time, there are those that would pursue the entire population to eat carrots and bean sprouts rather than meat. But have no concern for non-stop population expansion. There is no "silver bullet" to be had. Regulations are meant to benefit certain sectors of the economy, at the expense of other sectors, and individual rights.
I feel the majority of the problem is the forbidden taboo of all things to discuss....population....there is only so much room to stuff people..the closer you put them together..the more problems there are...man(woman) needs there space. Anyone who really cares about our future really needs to think hard about this. More people...more resources needed ,more pollution, etc ...just sayin..
It's like this if there banning wood stoves energy companies are behind it . We're not buying LP it all goes deeper down the rabbit hole . because why all the sudden do these politicians that vote for energy companies all of a sudden agree with the EPA on wood stoves. Google it . It's all in there voting history . Don't blame the greenies look at the politicians who voted for it. Politicians will tell you a different story. Then how they really voted. It gets complicated. But votes don't lie. Politicians history needs a hard look. They also need to band wild fires also . If everyone burned dry wood smoke would never be a issue. Sadly this isn't true...My neighbor is on the three year plan and I have never seen his not smoking. Every day a blue stream of smoke comes out his flue.
