finally found out how to add pics... this stove was a bear to move so I jacked it up and put caster wheels under it and rolled it in place
Good idea. I hope they can be locked now that you have it where you want it though. It wouldn't be fun if you bumped your stove and it rolled far enough that the pipe came apart
I really like DS Stoves. I was actually looking at their site this morning for a wood/coal furnace for this Tiny House
Looks beautiful to me. I know a couple of guys that have them and they love them. Very reliable from what I understand. They do what they are made to do and they do it well...should be a good value for you!
This stove was a great investment. I debated about getting one for a while and am glad I made the purchase.
i see their ad in Lancaster Farming every week. Once in a while i see one for sale in the classifieds. nice stone hearth you have there.
Hey good to know. The advertise on Coal pail, not to mention the owner being on there from time to time. I got a lot of great thoughts on that site, but I think for me, in this house, with what I have; the best bang for my dollar would be a wood/coal furnace in the basement. We could use the existing duct work from the oil furnace, to where we want it in the house. I got a boiler, but for the same money that installing a hydronic system would cost, I could just get a DS wood/coal furnace and be warm. BUT...I am turning this post about my requirements and not your stove, on casters in front of some nicely laid up wrong. Well done on all fronts my friend.
