DS stoves

Opinions or thoughts on DS Energy Max stoves?

 

It's a ds, so built like a tank. There is very little out there on them, a search over at coalpail doesn't turn up much but a few people have them but haven't really reported good or bad. I've been hoping to see one in person but the local ds dealer hasn't had one when I was there. It's a dual fuel stove, so it can do wood or coal, something is sacrificed to make that happen.

I ended up getting the ds energy max 110. so far so good. Ready to try it on a real cold night with a load of red oak. I think I'm gonna be happy with it.

 

Just so you know we love around here soooo.........

 

How are you liking it so far? Hope it's not the one that just popped up for sale near me as barley used.

 

Barley used...is that like when you are drinking a lot and peeing constantly...the beer is barley used?

 

From the pics on the add it was more like the beer you opened and then fell asleep.

Good looking stove for sure. Hope you get some real cold soon to give it a good run. I just love the way a stove burns when it is in the single digits.
