Ima sit here in front of the fire and watch it snow. Then Ima sit here in front of the fire and watch it melt...
Ima sit in muh blind and watch for deer To the left 175 yds To the right 385 yds To the front 80 yds Snow...snow everywhere...
About 4" of snow now, but about to turn to rain. They are calling for 2" of rain overnight. Currently processing 6 big trees in my backyard. It has been a swamp since March!
You looking through a window?!? 'cause I thought I saw a reflection . I spose you got a propane heater in there too?
It's outta control Greg Roads were horrific on my travels home from Hanover today. Like driving on a skating rink, at least 2 inches of ice the whole way.
They are saying 6-10 inches over night here. Morning commute will be a mess. People forgot how to drive in the snow and too many people can't slow down a bit, less alone keep good tires/snow tires on their car. I am warm and toasty with black cherry in the Baby Bear!...and I got snow tires too!
I'm right with you on that. Now I was told that some of the lp ones make a high pitched sound that deer will hear and it will spook them.
Thought you'd have a bit more snow than that. Tis okay though. We got a few more inches this morning.
These don't make that sound. Only thing I don't like is that click when lighting them but its not been a problem with the deer.
Took me 3 hrs to drive 9 miles home from work yesterday and my wife after being stuck for the same time only to get 5 blocks had to stay at a co workers house nearby when her gas was running low. The gas stations were jammed with desperate people worse than the roads that were dotted with cars stuck on hills. The cities here were not prepared for this early November storm and roads were not salted or plowed. I hope this storm and all that rain we got over the last 4 months is not going to continue like this through winter. At least we're not in danger of forest fires though. I guess that's the other side of the coin.
Hasn't been my experience. But if the wind is wrong, I have about 10 seconds to pull the trigger at 20 yds once I open the windows, whether the heater is running or not
It was horrible....drove 20 miles to pic the wife up....parked her car at a bar between home n work....ended up with 10"s here n super heavy. Lost power from 2:15 am - 8. Penndot had there head up there @ss on this one...i guaranteeeeeeee
