28*.....70* inside......waitin for the chit to start fallin...we are on the edge of a winter storm warning....still 3-5" snow..then sleet n freezin rain...over a quarter inch of fr. rain possible...

 

I know one thing....there chickens are the most well kept n clean out of any chickens i can remember...

The wind picked up last night but that is OK since it blew some warm air into the region. Calling for mid 30's today and 30 tomorrow....the OWB likes this mild weather!

 

19° here, and the high wind is gone. The snow isn't getting here until this evening, but I'm picking up the grandson at 2P for a sleepover and hopefully avoid the stampede out of Boston. Then we'll hunker down for the snow! I'm burning red maple now, the BTU difference between it and oak is very noticable.

 

38f now. GoING to put more oak into it for the day

 

21f here, some snow and freezing rain at noon, not looking forward to the drive home after work, gonna put 1000 lb steel plate in the trunk bed before I head to work to put some weight for traction

 

Morning all. 31 out now. Crazy warm up house is about 95, and I have the door wide open. Whew!

1000 lbs in a trunk is a bunch. I know the feeling. Makes so much difference to get some traction.

 

About 30 degrees outside, 72 inside, Endeavor feasting on ponderosa pine and crusing at 475 STT. The high today will be mid 50s so I probably let it go out 'till this evening.

 

How much weight would you suggest to put in my trunk bed, it's a Ram 1500, you think 600 lbs would be better

 

If you put too much in the bed you lift the front and lose steering traction, 2-300# behind the wheel wells should be enough.

 

About 30 here. Boiler still chewing on chunks I put in there yesterday. Had to give it a little shot with the torch to wake it back up since apparently the house didn't call for heat last night....baseboards are stone cold and its 74 in here.

 

Darn near! I think the worst we got hit with was about a week ago, one night dropped to -24 C feels -27 C, or -11 f feels -16 f. Compared to that it sure is a heat wave.

Currently sitting in -2 C feels -5 C or 28 f feels 22 f. Still burning up poplar uglies.

We have that storm just about ready come in. It is about 27 but feels like 19f. The last radar I checked it was right on NY/PA boarder so should start to see it any time
We are in the 5 to 8 in range. Well Chaz will have snow for opening day of deer season.
