Breaking down the rail rack and moving good to go wood to the shed and preparing to split the right way...Been a minute-next week is rifle season here, like to take care of business early and spend the rest of the week off running a saw...Hey, a guy can dream right? Hope all are well and warm!
I’m just south of Charleston...had season tix for 9 yrs at the U til they priced me out...been going to football and bball games there since 1981-Let’s Go Mountaineers!
Blue lot tailgate + cost of tickets and MAC donation came to be very expensive...love it and miss it but games at home being able to hunt and cut wood prior to kick off mean just a lil more to me right now...noon kicks meant leaving home at 5am...330 or later meant dodging deer coming down I-79 after a long day of tailgating...Priorities man, you know? Nice to meet you...you towards Fairmont or north?
You got a nice setup there, as well as some good looking land & house. Your making progress and moving forward, that's all that counts. We up in the north are keeping warm, and enjoying the early arrival of winter. Might as well enjoy it, we can't change it. Oh, and that is one darn fine splitter right there.
Not bad, but not as well as expected-thank you for asking HDRock - Hope you and all are well-Its good to be back among friends- And NH mountain man - Thank you for the kind words and you’re right-looks like Farmers Almanac and others are wrong this year-its usually 70 here right now-we are under a weather advisory for freezing rain and snow tonight...Roll with it, cause we cant change it, just throw another seasoned split on the fire...Wealth of loved ones and warmth to all...
There's no issues of me and my family and close friends staying warm in Hawaii. It's still mid 70's at night. Glad to see you back at it. I love the warmth here, but the warmth from the stove is something else.
Horkn glad you’re enjoying such a wonderful experience...pretty sure you’re the front runner for the “You Suck” of the Year Award, I’m sure its blissful. yooperdave Overall, I would purchase again-Pros= 2 loads fills a regular pick up bed, 1500 lb capacity-tandem axle is the real deal and floats over about anything, side rails are worth it though extra and the trailer tongue is long enough to make it easy to navigate, good customer service...Cons=latch could be stronger, I have overloaded the rear just tossing wood in as opposed to evenly distributing and had the latch pop open, tires though nice and heavy-duty are sealed bearing so no Zerc fittings to grease...and its somewhat pricey though the price difference at the time between HD and Lowes was substantial with delivery to Lowes hundreds cheaper for some reason, that may not now be the case-hitch mount and rails are extra and I got those off Amazon-I think I’ve got a total of about $750 in it. Hope this helps and finds you well
