    It got a little interesting when I had the woodstove loaded with hedge coals. You'd have to crack the door and open it real slow...wait a few seconds and make the call on whether or not it was worth trying to stir things up.

    Those little embers are incredibly hot. I'll use charcoal in my forge on occasion and when those jump and land on your arms, they seriously hurt. Lots of respect for those buggers.
