Almost sounds like the time i went up to mow my mom's yard. She had a murry riding lawnmower. I started it up and it's clanging like crazy, vibrating, etc. So i shut it down quick, grabbed the deck, tipped it on its side and looked under it. One of the blades was bent like a bobby pin almost in a complete U! I said, who's been using that mower and what for, she said, cory's been up behind the house ''jumping it''. So i took her outside, tipped it up again and showed her, my poor mom said, "Do you think they'll cover that with the warranty"? When she said, that, and so very seriously, i about fell over, lol. It worked, cory didn't ever have to mow the yard again. And, like you i told her don't let that kid on that mower again.

Craftsman and quality used to go hand in hand. They were known for their warranty, service and parts.
Now? It's just another company that couldnt keep up to the ever changing consumer's needs and internet sales.

That was actually 35 years ago. The decline had definitely started by then!

Service writer, warranty , sales, parts, and helping train a new service manager. No shortage of responsibility:)

Spring is our crazy season. I will fire this up again.

    Thanks for the bump. :)

Todays fun fact I learned the hard way:

It takes a while to count $12,000 worth of 20 dollar bills.

Como se dice 100 dollar bills only en espanol?

Back in 99, I had to wait 2 hours at the dealership cause every one in the sales and finance offices was counting out 45,000 in cash ( small bills nothing larger than a 20) That a couple brought in to purchase a new vehicle. I was pretty miffed as all I was there for was to pick up my new truck- nothing else. fast foreward to last Summer , at a dealership down the block, had a nice vechile I was looking for for an exceptionally good price- would not take cash or check or bank draft - only a down payment on a credit card- I wasn't there to set up any finance activity. They didn't last long 3 mo. later out of business.
More in line with your employment, this came in a couple days ago. Yep that is a wash tub full of dull chains.

If nothing else, it is sort of fun to be able to do it once or twice but it does get your hands pretty dirty. Myself, I don't mind. I'll never forget the time I was walking around with over $20,000 in my pocket. I was rushing to the bank at the time... Somehow cash makes one a bit more nervous than checks.
