My Dad came over with his riding mower with the blades upside down and loose. Said he can't always wait for me to work on his stuff. I'm like OK, flipped his blades over and off he went. Only problem is he lines stuff up in my garage to be worked on and complains when I can't get to it fast enough. I work a full time job 8-5 and have my firewood/grading business nights and weekends and have all that equipment to keep up with as well. I told him I been coming in at 10pm after deliveries, get this he said he has no problem with me working on his stuff after 10pm !!! I need to send him to the OP as he has a much better attitude than I do lately......

I have tried everything. Unfortunately, I just try to stay away so I can have peace and stay productive.

My mom is 200 miles away. I'm the only kid that is still in the same state, or even the Midwest. I don't get up by her much anymore. It's not like I can swing by after work. Now when Dad was alive, I went up to the cottage more, but Dad and I were very tight. Mom and I, not so much.

    Back from the dead thread!

We've transitioned to leaves, snow, and wood cutting. The fun has begun :) 3 seasons in one

The weather guessers said the s word for tonight and all of a sudden We are buried in plow and salt spreader work. It amazes me how a guy can take a 6 figure contract and not have back up equipment. :hair: We do a metric crapton of ice mitigation installs. From brine makers to application, we do it all.

I got a rubbermaid tote full of bars and chains dropped off from one commercial tree customer on Saturday. He wants a useability assessment done on it all. Service manager took one look, shook his head, and said it's all my baby lol. I'll get a pic tomorrow. Lmao that now I'm the go to guy on saw stuff.

For the record, I still love my job 99% of the time.
