May God look upon with Great delight today, because of "you", we live in a free society regardless of politics, beliefs, religions or anything else! You are the greatest and hold your head high today! We have done this for our fellow man and we are truly humbled but very proud! Don't forget to honor those who "walked" alongside of us and Thank them as well, Family, friends, neighbors, "all" who supported us. But mostly, Let us not "EVER FORGET" our Brothers and Sisters who gave all! Thank you all, I am honored to be amongst the greatest group of folks in the world!!! Dave.
Happy Veteran's Day and thank you to all of our veterans out there for your service It is because of you that we can enjoy the freedoms we have. On a side note, I always find it interesting to think of the people that protest the soldiers and our government only have the freedom to protest because of those soldiers and our form of government I wonder if they ever think about this
I wish you all well on this Veteran's Day. The "good" part about this day is that it reminds people that there is a price to pay because freedom isn't free. 7.3% of the living have served in the military. Veteran's day is a day to be respectful to both the living and those who gave all. Don't forget that many who served come home with the burden of war scars, both physical and mental. 22 veteran's commit suicide daily. 14 of those 22 sought help. There is much to be done to correct this massive avoidable loss of life. But for many, like myself, veteran's day is also a very sad day. It reminds me of so many sacrifices, it reminds me of the carnage I personally witnessed and continues to haunt me. To those who value and recognise our veterans, Thank you for your support.
I may not have a PhD, but I do have a DD214, and I would not trade it for anything. So on this the 100th anniversary of the end of WW1 take time to remember all those who have served and are still serving.
Happy Veteran's day. Thanks to all those who have served. Hope to take this barn find and to restore it back to it's military days. Near as we can tell, it was a flight line vehicle.
