16F this morning. She made me do it.

    I didn't want to.

But now it's done. I think it's silly wanting the house warm in the morning.

It's what an airplane pilot asks for when he wants a smoke.

Ha! I finally remembered to shut my water tank pilot light off yesterday since I lit the OWB last month!

C'mon, I've been busy with stuff!

It's the match that you light the fire in the woodstove with.

Thankfully, my wife likes it cool at night like I do. So I have been loading the stove up in the morning, then completely shut the air just before bed. Give me a nice cooler house for sleeping, and some decent coals for a relight the next morning.

At least that's the schedule until it starts really getting cold.

Agree with you, but it did get really cold. I was hoping to get to Thanksgiving with out having to use it. On the plus side, I do admit she has a point about the house being warm when you get out of the shower.

I have been burning daily for over 3 weeks already. Some days just 4 splits, some days a 3/4 load. Definitely sooner than I expected.
