That is a downer. Can you find a lot and put a manufactured home on it? You all need better access to stuff. Little one is going to have after school stuff very soon. My place is in the woods. However I am but 3 miles from town in either direction from the main road. I have outstanding internet speed and to the door delivery service. My son and his family live in the other half of this home. They are here to look out for us so we don't have to move util we move to our eternal rest. Son come to our rescue to scoop Cindy up off the floor every time she goes down. I can't lift much at all now. Walking only short distance. Endurance limited to standing about 5 min.

Snow is really piling up outside right now!!

99 was planning to go shopping for the weekend. As of right now, her and the rest of the women are considering at least leaving later on Sat, if not cancelling the trip altogether. No sense taking chances you don't need to.

I know. That's a summer day in WY. It was no chit 90 degrees here about 4 or 5 weeks ago....I haven't had time to adjust.

Why not indeed. Well I woke up before 1 AM, hopefully I can get a few more hours rest. My appetite is gone, I had trouble getting a slice of pizza down last night and I'm somehow managing to function with hardly any food and way less water than usual.

yep we had that this am. Well, Friday am that is. We had a good 2" on the ground, and on the plane too. We got to the airport just fine, but deicing took a while for the ground crew and it held our flight up an hour. All 5 of us for to the connecting flight to Hawaii just in time. That was a bit too close for my comfort.

No snow here. It was mid 80s today. Now 79 out at 9pm aloha time.

It's been a long day, but we're enjoying it here already.

Caffeine going in. Almost time to take my son to his basketball practice. Saturday morning from 7-9. They have to get 10 practices in before the first game.

After that it will be time to get to work on that barn project I was suppose to do yesterday. Cleaning and organizing it and getting tractor attachments inside.

Yesterday I ended up spending almost the whole day building a wheelbarrow for my wife. We have had a double wheel one for probably 10 years at least. It has done a lot of work. The hard plastic tub had finally broke in several spots. So it was time for a new one. But I decided I was not going to spend the money just yet. The wood and metal frame, axle, and wheels and tires are still fine. So I took the plastic tub off and built a whole wooden frame and tub. Then lined the bottom of tub with some old metal coil stock I had saved under my bench. The manure should slide out easy now. The front end of the tub was left square so now it stands up when not in use. When I buy the next one for her it will probably be a four wheel one. Maybe even a motorized/powered one. But for now we don’t have to spend the money and can save that for vacation.:) I’ll post a picture of the finished project today. My wife says she likes it. Looks Amish. LOL

That’s great news. Life saving meds should be affordable. Good luck with the tests and doctor in Boston.

Very wise decision. Avoiding some people who have a hard time driving on a dry road, let alone the first real snow of the season.

If I could sleep past 4 am just once this week, that would be FANTASTIC. 3:30-4am for no reason sucks.

Morning Hoarders, well......... bye bye to the above-freezing temps. Right at 32 with a howling NW wind and the forecast is down,down......down for the coming week.
The ole' 30 is perculating just fine and the house is a comfortable 72. Everyone have a great and safe day.

    Well................

ended up with 13", not so bad as some were calling for 14-16. Just finished up with the driveway, walkway and yard paths but I used the snowblower. I think that old john deere blower will be getting a lot of use this winter! Still have to shovel the deck but meh, wth, no hurry!

Yes, 99 did leave for her weekend shopping trip; took her car and not the rav4. Once you get to the plowed roads everything is just a normal winter day.
