    Nope. Almost did but chose not to because of wrong angle. That shot would be okay with rifle but not bow. On the others, I simply chose to not shoot. Same for that evening. Had a buck at 12 yards broadside. I simply sat there and enjoyed the show. Too small. Let the kid grow a bit. Saw 2 bucks and 10 does last evening.

    Gotta think ahead... The fools do the same thing down here now. I wonder if a new rule comes from above somewhere?

    No hunting this morning. Couldn't see very much in the woods except snow. Will be off the trees before evening.

    Got all the running done. Ended up not getting an oil change today (appt book filled up) but emptied the foodstuffs and freezables from the cottage and attending a Veteran's Day program. The inside of the cottage was at 30f so it would have froze the water jugs and other stuff today/tonight for sure.

    Highways were plowed and salted and clear with no issues while driving.

    But right now, its snowing down hard and the wind has picked up. Temps have dripped into the high teens and will continue to fall. This is the weather that makes you glad to stay home.

    Cold I guess, I've been taking the drugs and suffering through it except for a couple hours when Benny actually cuddled up with me. I couldn't give in and rest all day, that would have made week 3 in a row I lost my time working on the property. (Gas leak last week, brake issue the week before). Slowed me down but didn't stop me. I have to work work tomorrow at 6 PM, hopefully I'm rid of it then. Last thing we need is the whole staff passing it back and forth....

    I'm glad you've been able to function. Benny must have been concerned about you! I bet they can smell when we are sick, they can smell diabetes and cancer so why not colds?

    I think I'm going to stay out of the woods tomorrow AM. Supposed to be 21 with 20 MPH wind. I'm not conditioned for that yet. Got a bunch of splitting and stacking to do.

    The first computer we bought was an apple with NO memory. Just Ram and and disk. That cost us $2400 with a dot matrix printer. the cost has gone way down since then. My first lap top was $1900. that didn't last long. the desktop I am using here is a intel (R) Core (TM) i7-7700 CPU @3.60 GHz with 16.0 GB Ram. two 27 in curved monitors.

    When you find medications unaffordable, there are opportunities to make your case with the manufactures and appeal for a reduced cost. Most of the folks I know who have done that are either getting it free or a drastically reduced cost. Try asking a pharmacist about it.

    Just today we were able to get her meds. We got lucky with the help of the transplant doctor. What would have been $1400 we were able to get for $200. I cant tell you how much better we feel. We will be going to Boston soon for tests and I look forward to talking to the Dr. Thank you savemoney

    We were approved for the house I wanted to buy, Wooo! FINALLY got inside today before signing the buyers agreement, Booo :(

    We turned it down:confused: :jaw::confused: .

    I'm just so disappointed because I could have been in town sooner on a 1/2 acre lot for so little, and we could have made an income off of it eventually, but, sigh, too much of a project for us beyond the renovation$$ included in the loan or even the inspection for the hybrid renovation/mortgage loan, even for that much real estate and so little money...

    Canadian border VT assured me we'd find another "good deal" in the next 3 years before kiddo is in Jr High in town. I can hang out here til then, funky and odd here but much more comfortable and warm that than very good deal.

    The last thing anybody needs is stress. Stress kills. Many of the high cost of medications is because of our laws, that and insurance plans that pay for meds makes it easy for big pharmacy to rape the insurance companies who just pass the costs along. Go to mexico or canada and see what the meds cost there. So big pharm lobbies to put in laws to make difficult to illegal to do it. They want to sell you that you risk poor quality. Yet, in so many cases, it is the same pill. Big pharm need to be not allowed to lobby. Those huge donations for elections go a long way to influence votes of the elected representatives.
