We went in to vote at what we thought would be a slower time. We were wrong. It took over a half hour to vote. I have never seen lines that long for an election, even the one 2 years ago.

You were lucky. One guy there said he had been there at 7 this morning and didn't like the lines so he came back mid morning and said it wasn't too bad. Should be an interesting evening seeing who gets in and who gets the boot.

It was very busy at 11am. Busier than two years ago for sure.

I am up for re-election, but since i had no opponent in the Primary and General, i spent the day doing the CCS boogie on the farm.

Then I find a voicemail that a tree top is block g the lower logging road which we need open to hunt. Dude? You not hear the chainsaw and splitter running? Too late now, showered up and smell good stuff applied.

Side note on local election- my county ran out of ballots! They are running like crazy to get copies to several polling places. Guess who else is up for re-election? The person responsible. Wouldnt be suprised if it makes national news.

Our turnout is triple the number when I ran four years ago.

Took me longer to walk to the truck and back than it did to vote.

    Voted once I got back.

Very helpful workers this time around.

They hovered over me and helped me fill out the ballot. I guess I was marking the wrong places, they helped out and corrected it for me, then they turned it in for me and then gave me a neat pin once it was all over......must be some new kind of stars or something............

Uggg. It's bitter and nasty. That's also what the people that can taste it say. Those that can't taste it, probably say it "tastes red". It's so aweful.

Yes, my wife and I both voted, as always. She voted earlier in the day at like 2pm to avoid crowds. No dice. It was packed. I hit up the town hall after work, 4:15 and it was busy, but not stupid busy. The guy at the "I voted" sticker booth said that the polls were extremely busy all day, with record turnout.
