I had half of a wood bin empty at Granny's. The night before when I went to bed, the rain was coming down in buckets. I woke up at 4:00 AM standard time, looked out the window and there were stars out so it was time to move some wood!
    Empty bin.

Lots of exercise and fun processing this wood plus Granny really enjoys the heat that comes from it!

Looks real nice Allen. We turned our clocks last night so my construction lights came out tonight for splitting. Finally got a good start on the 3 or 4 cords I have here that needs split so a little darkness ain't getting in my way...:rootintootin:

The last pic looks like it could be part of a firewood maze.

Nice to get all that done before the day has even started! Did Granny make you breakfast?

Granny's late husband had built a bunch of small elevated wood sheds and I have added a few more, so a maze would be a good description of the wood storage at Granny's!

Seeing it was an early start, Granny sensibly stayed in bed until her regular get up time, so Woodwidow made an early breakfast!

I like the maze idea! Similar to a corn maze, it's the right time of year. Just the kind of thing to inspire up and coming young firewood hoarders. Also, nice clean stacks as an example. You are a Good Grandson! Very energetic. I need to find out what kind of coffee you drink!
