    Found a wood box for firewood for 10 bucks....15 in gas to get it.....but hey...

    Ill use it for firewood.....figured id have enough wood in there for 3-4 days depending on temps...its 38" wide....20" deep....25" high....
    My splits arent big n this will work perfectly..:D :yes:

    That's a beautiful chest and I couldn't build it for that price! It will keep the mess from wood and bark chips contained. According to your measurements that's a full 24 hr burn for me on the coldest days and a 48 hr burn during SS. If I burn the chest I may get a few more hours :rofl: :lol:

    That is a great score bear 1998 and as mentioned you couldn't build it for $10. I have been thinking about incorporating something like this in the house. Kids have a wood toy chest very similar to what you just bought not far from the stove, although probably not as deep that I've been thinking of commandeering.....:whistle:;)
