    So I picked up a load of red oak this morning out of my woods. For snits and giggles, I weighed my ATV and trailer on a gravel pit scale just down the road from me. My trailer is 4' by 5.5' and the oak is very wet as I just dropped the tree two days ago.

    actually I want to guess 2700-3200 but I'll stick with 2700 officially.

    not including the trailer
    I wouldn't think a gravel truck scale would be accurate with small loads but I don't know truck scales.
    Not that it matters for this adventure.

    I weighed my ATV and trailer empty and a half hour later I weighed ATV and trailer loaded.
