OH Jeez, the sociopath will likely look at the generosity around him/her and use it to justify stealing some more.
Just revisited this thread to get caught up. 1st let me say it's great to see the outpouring of support, local and here. Great life lessons being learned with this situation. But more importantly, reading posts in-sighting this person needs physical violence placed upon him... Now, if someone laid a hand upon a loved one [etc], I'd have those types of thoughts. For this situation, a beat down?
That's a bummer for sure. But he's a sharp young man to start a business like that at his age. As rough as it is, better to learn now; it'll sharpen his skills for later in life.
That last part, I almost want to laugh (I know terrible right), I've lost most faith in humanity, I have no doubt it wouldn't make a difference to any p.o.s. willing to take what they want. No disrespect by any means yooperdave The last few years I've grown a real hatred towards thieves, even though I haven't had any real problems myself, just seeing the crap on social media and on here that people are willing to do, to make a buck, get their next fix etc. If I ever had any issues, you bet your azz if they are caught, they WILL be charged with everything I can find in the book no matter how big of a deal they think it is/was. I work hard for the things I have, to be taken just like that, makes me sick. Sorry rant over.
Good to see a real go getter! Sounds like he's got some drive in him! But sorry to hear people can be useless.
That’s a life lesson learned early as bad as it is. Very sad! Good on you for teaching him work ethic early another life lesson that will serve well later on...
So glad to see how this is turning out for your son. What a great lesson! We have to believe there are more good people than bad, else all is lost. This really helps renew faith in humanity! Thank you for sharing this story with us jrider and I hope you tell your son we’re all rooting for him and we admire his hard work and tenacity.
