Convection motor bearing change.

    Welp, The beast developed a grumble. Did a lil checking and found local dealer wanted $300+ clams for it..... :jaw: Checked online and best deal was $196 with free shipping. :headbang:Cheap azz me didn't want to spend that much $$ just before xmas... :makeitrain"

    Stopped at the napa store on the way home and grabbed 2 608-2RS bearings for $12 bucks plus tax. :banana:Had some free time tonight. So it happened. Yep pic too!! :p No more grumble! :D

    Earned me a few good brewskis :coldone:

    Hello J, short question was tha t
    motor a Flamco sealed bearing motor? Or had you change that out previously. Thanks for the help over the years. I still drift over to the other side but Breckwell still doing the job but would like to rebuild a few fans for spars. Thanks Tommy

    Its a Fasco sealed bearing motor. A little tricky to get them a part. This motor had swagged tabs that needed to be pride open(carefully). Most have spring clips that pop right off.

    Only took a lil over an hour. I think I spent more time at napa cause they couldn't find the bearings........
