Our small little cold snap has kinda broken, back to milder temps this week and milder lows at night. Hec Wed & Thurs calling for 68 and over 72 degrees! Don't see any burning for the foreseeable future :(

Was pretty warm overnight, didn't drop below freezing, and we're already 4 C or 39 F. We did get some rain and a weird ice pellet blip for all of 30 seconds. More uglies in the stove.

70 degrees??!! At this time of the year? Wow! Well, we're forecast to be 54 on Wednesday but that is far from 70. We probably won't see that again until late next April or early May.

Gorgeous Southern Indiana sunset. Brisk temperature with the leaves in color.

Looks like winter is creeping in slowly on a lot of you fellas now! Few degrees above freezing, random rain and wind but not supposed to dip much tonight. We're 2 days away from official "if it snows it probably sticks around"

Wood shed topped up more than usual, I even buzzed up all the uglies n launched them in the shed to avoid the every year poor tarp job that never keeps them 100 percent covered. I swear there's a 1/3 to light 1/2 cord of uglies in there.

Sitting at 0 C or 32 F, a little wind and a dusting of snow. Didn't throw any wood on before bed so the thermostat was reading 55 F in the hall this morning. I must have some polar bear dna in me, as I was bare foot and it didn't feel that bad!:D

It is still amazing that folks are talking about 70's at this time of the year. We're happy to be in the 50's here and really do not want it any warmer. 50's to me is the almost ideal temperature for everything except swimming. But even then if you heat the water it would be okay. lol

Looks like we'll be wet very soon.

43 here now, cloudy, very windy & raw. I have to do some stuff outside and then I'll light a fire as it's down to 59 inside.

It’s late getting here. Normally I am hunting by snowgo when winter season opens on November 1st. Not enough snow to run machines yet.
