It'll run a little gooder without that HD filter set up. Also find a 6421 coil for it. Unless Copsey did the 272 coil conversion. I ran my buddies Copsey 7910 awhile ago it's a fast saw.

Yes Copsey has this thing ripping !!! It's so fun to run I hardly ever grab the 661 . Would like to run it up against a worked over 461 . Or a worksaw 372 An see what's up ...most people I know with 461s get real shy when it comes time to bang some wood !

Btw welcome to the fhc. It was a better saw than the 461 to begin with stock.

Ran the EC saws 7910 back in July an it was very impressive beat a few saws a nice 372 built by a guy in Canada I think.. an beat a 461 randy at MMWS built . I liked the 372 i raced against so much I had to own one so I called Eric copsey an he built me a mean 372xpw wow it's crazy fast it's faster than the 7910 he built me . It's been the saw I always seem to wanna grab off the bench an run latley 20181012_095737.jpg 20181012_095757.jpg

I don't doubt that at all. My buddy has a 460 magnum and he said my stock 6421 dolkita cuts faster than his saw. Same chain on both, and both 20" bars. I noted the same deduction. My saw even has a displacement deficit l.

Yes it was real real close but it was not a fair comparison the 372 was literally just put together an had maybe 2or 3 heat cycles in it an a all ready run chain I be leave by Reilly. The domar is well broke in an has had the fuel played with alot . An allso had a fresh grind an was stoned . I bealeave the 372 now is faster ... an we still haven't started taking fuel away .. bye the way these are just play work saws . Kinda

Both great looking saws. It would be interesting to see timed cuts with same bar and chain after the 372 is broken in.

I've got an EC Saws Dolmar 6100 and it hauls the mail.

I have a few EC saws and they run real well, the 2153 and 2260 he did are quite impressive, the 2253 and 2171 are real strong too
