28 inches wide, heated handles, easy turn, electric start, 6 forward 2 reverse. I need something like that to help me maintain a path to my wood shed during the winter. 369cc engine and that is bigger than the new engine on my log splitter. I have a 344cc B&S on my 25 ton Speeco.

I've been considering a new one also. Congrats!

Found out today I can get an used western plow installed for around 2500. Tempting, no?

If you have something to mount the plow on, it might be good. I do not have a truck:(

Good luck with the cataracts. Had both my eyes done, a year apart, about 7 yrs ago, I still wear glasses mostly for up close. No longer have a restriction on my drivers license, thougj.

You put a bright red Western plow on that truck & it's gonna look like a mint sundae that the cherry fell off. :D
I'm sure Eric VW can come up with some better word pictures.

Thanks MikeInMa I only need one done now. Next month my wife has her second cataract surgery. It may be a year before I have my other eye done. Glad I got most of my work with wood done before surgery, although one is never done with wood:whistle:

Good luck Erik. Please let us know how the surgery turns out. I'm facing that in the future but it will be the last thing before it gets done. I have only one good eye and was told about 1 in every 10,000 will get some infection or something like that. Trouble is, infection usually also means blindness in that eye. With only one eye, I will wait until the last minute to have it done.

I had the surgery about 11 this morning. I had to start putting drops into the eye 2 days before surgery and will have to continue with drops for a couple weeks after surgery. You gotta do what the doc says. Surgery only took about 15-20 minutes. We left the day surgery place within an hour after surgery, after a cup of coffee, some juice and a muffin. I will be seeing an eye doc tomorrow to have the eye shield taken off and get the eye checked. It is real hard to tell how successful it was, I should know more tomorrow.
