Makes for a great fall day. Nothing like exercise is the cool brisk air.

Hard to beat a nice day processing firewood. That is a nice looking stacked row you got there.

What kind of a splitter is that? Interesting how it is set up to go vertical.

Yeah the tow receiver attached to the beam is different. Looks like the 15 ton speeco but I didn't think that went vertical.
There must be a pin where it rests on the pad ?

It's called a brave I'm guessing he bought it 20 plus years ago but it's a 24 ton

Good deal, nothing like cutting wood and deer hunting/scouting. Just being outside is a blessing.

    Nice looking stack!

I'd be interested in seeing more pix of that splitter to show the details. Not that I'm going to build one, I just like to see different ideas / execution getting it done.

I got chased away today. I cut split and stacked a cord roughly before the Alberta Clipper hit. Was a nice 50° 5mph breeze day and perfect for the job today.:saw: :axe::stacker:About 1 hour ago temp dropped, wind got up to 20 with gusts of up to 35 and rain.:singingintherain: Hope it blows through so I can get back at it tomorrow. Here is a pic, got a little spare room in the shed so there it goes by the baler. 20181027_150546.jpg
