Finish splitting at Grandpa's today and I am beat to say the least but was a beautiful day to be out in the great outdoors and done a little scouting for deer after I was done
A beautiful load of Oak. & an even better looking long single row of stacked seasoning firewood When deer season open ?
Yeah the tow receiver attached to the beam is different. Looks like the 15 ton speeco but I didn't think that went vertical. There must be a pin where it rests on the pad ?
Nice looking stack! I'd be interested in seeing more pix of that splitter to show the details. Not that I'm going to build one, I just like to see different ideas / execution getting it done.
I got chased away today. I cut split and stacked a cord roughly before the Alberta Clipper hit. Was a nice 50° 5mph breeze day and perfect for the job today. About 1 hour ago temp dropped, wind got up to 20 with gusts of up to 35 and rain. Hope it blows through so I can get back at it tomorrow. Here is a pic, got a little spare room in the shed so there it goes by the baler.
