I like your enthusiasm but here I’m not nearly ready for the snow. Still have lot of yard work and about 5 cords I have to cut ,haul home and split and stack. I love fall but it’s never long enough.

I love the fall time too. We've already had a dusting of snow this season, I'm at 5300 ft level so anything can happen and it does.
This picture was taken yesterday, I went out scouting a new cutting area.

NOPE...don't want the snow yet...Still need to swap on the snow tires, replace the cable on the front mount snow blower shoot, still have more CSS that I want to do...and it's deer season...and I have to move my sister....and I have to go to work which cuts into my fun.

I am enjoying fall. Clear crisp days, NO rain and lots of sunshine. I hope it last a while longer. Winter is grey skies and cold, wind driven rain and lasts far too long.

Lots of wildlife for sure! Last time I pulled a tag it was on the other side of the state, 350 miles away.:loco:

I can remember having the draw system for tags. Another Alaska perk for this moose season the wife and I had 9 OTC tags each for the zones around the house. All in a 200 mile radius. Of course one is the limit, at least we have some options. The wife is eligible for winter moose Nov 1st to February 28th.

Very nice! I wish it was more like that here. It makes it real tough to scout out an area 350 miles away. I'll put in for tags next spring and see what happens.
