Can't edit thread title, but now we're talking some serious coin. 1.6B with a cash option of 904,000,000. Crude calculations (38% state and fed), leave you with 560,000,000.00 after taxes. I'd be buying a new, instead of used, jet at that point. I'd go for the G550 for the extended range as well. Interest alone, even at 5%, would cover operational costs and depreciation.

Also, I saw a feller/buncher in operation at the I-79/I-90 interchange in Pennsylvania the other day. First time in person, those things are pretty slick. One of those would be a nice addition to the Cord King. I'm thinking a log truck for transport would be nice too.

I would use 10% of winnings to set up trusts for all close family members to help with major life expenses. All would have premium health care coverage. A couple work in local law enforcement, so I'd set their departments up with equipment/training trusts for the duration of their employment. The trust would benefit the whole dept, not just my family members, but if they leave the dept, funding follows them to new dept or goes to the local Volunteer Fire Dept if they quit. I hate seeing them running cruisers with crappy tires in the winter and rust popping through the paint on the rocker panels and wheel wells. Also, their current equipment allowance doesn't cover replacement of gear that gets damaged when they have to go hands on with someone and start rolling around in a parking lot.

Also, how much does a Senate seat cost?

I would open an elderly/child daycare. A place where working people could drop off their elderly parents and or children for the day. A really nice place with awesome meals and activity at a very low price.

Chances of me winning is just about zero as I've never bought a lottery ticket in my life. Yet, I've won close to $100 so sometimes you can win without buying, I guess!

I never play this particular poor tax but if I’m in a gas station and think about it I might buy one.

Money to blow would be Big ranches, sail boat, prop plane, jet, helicopter, gyrocopter.

    Most would be invested.

Set % to give away each year likely to education, maybe underprivileged mother’s who are really trying to make a change in their life.

Just saw a sign that said “can’t have million dollar aspirations with minimum wage work ethics”

At $1.6b, I think you could buy the racetrack and whole shooting match.

Hell, I'd like to make my entire extended family debt free and then put all the kids through college, a couple million for our retirement and start a cancer research fund of sorts with the rest .
