I am guessing it is a tough job but glad she is up to the task. One less thing for SWMBO to do:doh:

We deprogrammed a wildcat that I told my neighbor that moved away I'd feed. All out brawl between her and our wildcat a week or so ago. Also leftover cat urine :hair:. I now know where the term "pizzing contest" came from. That would explain the stinky porch and sticky bags from last winter :picard: . No Thank You. Today after putting away the patio furniture, bags of soil/peat etc. Momma was sitting on the bristled cocoa entry mat. I put an old velour blanket on the potting bench where I feed her (and her brother, yes I WILL trap him, get him to the vet, fixed, vaccinated, chipped and all that jazz someday), she's not so sure about velour, but guessing she'll learn to like it soon ;)

We're hoping for a new canine addition to our home soon. I'll let you all know if and when it actually happens, not worth sharing false alarms like before (Hazelnut). Not the right time for too many reasons but I've always a dog that could hear/see well and this is the first time since 1990's we've had 2 convelescent dogs. Always had a second, or third, or 4th younger dog in mix til now. Fingers crossed. How interesting the ease to commit to taking a dog on with vet care and training particular to it's background etc. was once so easy and at some point breed characteristics become very important.

Very cool, this hutch was here at this house (among another ton of stuff when we moved in). I freecycled it 5 years ago. Here it is again being freecycled. Karma

Rainey playing with an action toy. She has figured out how to pull the string but still has to master getting the toy in position so it will scurry across the floor.

And so it isn't one sided, here is Spot playing in the bathtub. She uses the tub to keep the toy in the "playing field. Wish I had
thought to take a video, but this will have to do.
