Cubex are from Canada and Sets are from Kentucky, both are by-products of flooring operations. Burned each of them in recent seasons. They are similar in that they are both good quality hardwood pellets. Would burn either of them again with no hesitation. If in the same price range, my personal preference would be the sets.

Looks like your local store is selling the Cubex this season. If you want to try the sets, Long Pond carries them, and they aren't too far from you.

Burning Cubex right now and my stove likes them. Haven’t seen Somersets in my neck of the woods but many folks on the forum like them. I recommend you buy a ton of each and see what your stove likes the best.

I've never seen 'Sets, but have burned Cubex (stole some off CL out from under peterfield . My P61a loves the Cubex. Your stove, however may not, so try some out of each before committing.

Have not tried sets either but toasted 7 tons of Cubex (bagged as Northern Max) got them for a dang good price and they were an excellent pellet , packaging, burning, minimal ash.

Russel you have probably mentioned it but where are you getting them Cubex and for how much ? Might tempt me to head southeast for some as I can get some just north of here in New Hampster but the price is high.
