A little early this year, I think our average 1st frost date is 10/15. We went from high 80's- low 90's to high daily temps in the 50's. I've been looking forward to cooler temps but I was hoping for a gradual change.
Im in a valley and it gets a little cooler here than it does in the city. My od thermometer died so I'm not sure the temps here, the weather service says 36 but my shop and barn roofs are white with frost.
It didn't quite make it to Northern Kentucky.... yet. However, from my front window the Ohio river looks like a steaming hot tub!
39 here in the valley. Weathers getting better, but, during the day, its still bike riding weather. No rain in PNW at least until the 25th of Oct , or so they say. Been burning my small stuff i have sacked up from splitting and stacking my wood. Works great to get the chill out of the house early in the morning.
We got a little on the roof and had to scrape the windshield this AM. I'm in central IN too. Went from hot to cold in a hurry.
Last Saturday was 90* here this morning 50* here with a high of 72* expected today. I hope this lasts more than a week.
51° here. Warmer than the norm. Wind, some rain. 50° gotta be better than 90° Get out there & har some fun
30ºF colder tonight than last night. This morning should be a good opportunity to re-glue the gasket in the door and have a small fire to set it.
