    No clue. The first batch of 200 were in the 5.5 range. This batch was bought from the same hatchery, fed the same feed, and went exactly 8 weeks just like the others.

    It was chilly willy in the house this morning... So I decided a little fire to burn off the stove dust was in order... Earliest fire I've had for a few years... Usually around Halloween time or just a little bit later. But oh well, burn if you got 'em.... :D

    Weather has turned nice again. I think we are in for a week of being great fall weather. Short week but a busy one at work. Report cards going out on Friday. Heavy fog last night when we got home but it seems clear this morning.

    It's a brisk 50* with a good breeze coming out of the NNW. Headed for the low 30's tonight. Boiler is lit and ready for some action.

    Big yard sale the next couple of days...wife is in charge...I'm trying to stay out of the way, move heavy stuff as needed, and keep the little kids out of her way. Actually, the entire county turns into a tourist trap for the next 9 days starting tomorrow. We're getting out of town Sun-Wed.
