Actually yes as the property actually had a Bartow address and also a Wrightsville one but I never figured anyone heard of those two places.I used to live in Atl drive I20 then drop down to Sandersville before heading east.I would once and while return to Sparta then head west to Eatonton before going north. So Good luck and be safe
Sure hope that storm looses more steam than anticipated before it gets to you folks! Best to bunker up indoors. Our prayers are with you as with everyone in its path! My brother is Motor coaching in Warrington, Fl. about 100 miles west of Panama City but decided to stay in the area as he had commitments. The forecasts are much better in that area. Hope he made the right decision! Please keep us posted.
I am a sinner, but I am a believer too so you got my prayer and hope going for ya. Let us know how you make out with things.
Prayers sent.... don't be too concerned, if you are on this site with these good people you know how to survive...
Ditto, but then again, have always been told that we are all sinners. Be well down there T.Jeff Veal , and all others.
Small world. My wife's dad's folks were from Bartow, we found to Wrightsville occasionally, Sparta is about 25-30 minutes from my house... thanks
It was still a CAT3 when it got to the corner of ALA, GA, FLA. It's down to a CAT 1 now, about 125 miles from my house, should be a strong TS when it gets here about 2 AM. Thanks for all the prayers, concern and encouragement.
By the time it gets to you I hope all it does is water the petunias and blow the leaves off the roof!
Well the rain has stopped, blue skies now. Still got a brisk breeze, no major damage, just limbs and leaves. Got about 3.25 inches of rain...and the lights are still on...made it a lot better than our southern neighbors...next county over has about 150 roads blocked... thank you GOD for keeping us safe...and thanks for all the thoughts and prayers from y'all.
Got call from brother, in Panama city area.. He and family are good.. All stuff gone.. Prayers others are as lucky..
99 lbs brother and wife are in it. Haven't heard anything since yesterday when they said they were not evacuating.
