Camp is closed up and winterized. I've got plenty of (well) seasoned :rofl:  wood on hand, and the stove pipe is cleaned. Several cords of logs to process. The garden is finished and cleaned out. Heading over to meet up with WeldrDave this weekend at his new place and help anyway I can. I guess I'm good:thumbs:

I'm ready to go. A few cords of seasoned wood, cleaned chimney and 2 full hoops on the porch. After the Halloween decorations are down I'm going to bring more up to the porch. Just waiting on the temps to drop now.

I've inspected the chimney and cleaned what needed to be cleaned. Waiting on some cold weather to try to get the door gasket that started falling off last year stuck and glued back in the groove. With temps of almost 80ºF yesterday and today that's not happening soon.
It's freaking beach weather. I'm still waiting on Fall. Which might arrive FRiday. Then I'll get some Winter prep inspiration.
I did pull some onions yesterday though, even though some haven't even flopped over yet.

Same here, I've been waiting or should I say busting since Labor day weekend when I put the insert in, LOL!! I've stacked about face cord up onto the front porch out of the elements, another face cord in the yard covered!! I have plans to build a little wood shed this fall to hold about a full cord and half to 2 cords only a few steps from my back door. I'll move the tarped face cord and some ash I got recently to it.

After Micheal moves through my area temps are dropping with lows in the upper 40's at night and calling for only a high of 58 - 60 this weekend, insert/stove is officially getting broken in this weekend!!!
