It's 32 inches long, Hope to try it out tomorrow between storms. Might not get to though. it has rained big time this afternoon. have to put on waders to try it out.lol
used the pickaroon part of it today some to move a few chunks and splits around. It worked very well. dug into the wood and stayed. I was pleased and can't wait to try the skid part of it. which is coming up soon.
Sorry to bring up this old thread but I cut a little jag of wood and the skidderoon worked like a champ. Picked up pieces easy and could drag heavy ones with it easy. I'm happy with it.
Did you try the skidding feature with the cable? I also read a review at Baileys that said you could remove the cable assembly in seconds and it made the tool lighter and quieter.
I did use the skidding cable a couple times, works pretty good but still work dragging limbs.lol The cable does come off easy. It just hooks on the point piece. unhook it and slide it trough the handle. I didn't take it off to do these chunks but I can see where it would be easier to handle with it off.
