"Bladder tanks don't last that long" I can relate. My tank only lasts about 4 hours or less. :D:bug::(

About 5 minutes with scissors and 32 cuss words. After cuss 30 I stopped and took a picture because I knew others would be able to laugh at my pain at least.

Luckily it only bound up on one of the blades. I drove it up that pile of wood chips to give myself a little more access without needing a proper jack.

Trying to figure out the neighbor's simplicity as it stands assist to be getting enough fuel. Efi 27 hp Briggs commercial pro v twin. I changed the fuel filter earlier this year, the filter is oversized, because a bigger one fit. The neighbor j left the gas cap off while mowing, and there has been a lot of grass clippings and debris in the previous filter. It has run pretty good since then, although once in a while you can hear it surge.

I think it's an in tank fuel pump due to it being EFI. I think there's debris clogging the inlet if there's an in tank pump. You can't see anything in the tank of course. Black tank, tank is buried under a lot of crap and not easy to get to.

Shouldn't the fuel filter be more filled with gas than this? On Thursday, I tried to mow and it was not having it. The fuel filter barely had any fuel in it when that happened on Thursday. There's a lot more fuel in the filter now, but i don't think it has enough fuel getting to the engine IMG_20181006_140007120.jpg

Took several truck loads of branches to the tree dump including one for my father in law, then we went to a Oktoberfest bier tasting event.

    Mmmmm, bier. :)

Serious first world problem. I went to make myself a vodka soda, and only had lemons, not limes. I'm gonna have to suffer though this one!

Not necessarily...we use that same filter on a bunch of small engines at work...it always amazes me how very little fuel is in them often times...and running fine.
I agree with you though, sounds like the fuel pickup is probably plugged.

So I see the fuel pump is right on the motor, briggs 808656 is the part #. I will look to see how to test the pump. I guess if they get plugged up, then they don't pump. these cant be cleaned unlike the metal ones as this one is plastic.

I'll test the pump the old fashioned way tomorrow. Just take off the pump outlet hose and then crank the engine over. It should shoot out. If not it's either clogged at the pump or the inlet tube in the tank. I wish the tank was easier to get to. It's not.

Not yet. The first one we looked at was bought by the gentleman who called on it first. If we had been able to buy that one my son would have ended up with the it (330 Magnum). My son was happy about that as he really likes this one and has now claimed it. I’ll keep looking for an older model with low miles and in nice shape. Things are wet here so we are just riding around slow so we don’t tear things up. We are both excited about being able to ride together.

Caffeine going in. I didn’t want to get out of bed. But my son wants to ride again this morning. I think I’ll follow him on the Mini bike. Then I’ve got to do some work today.

All you hoarders enjoy your Sunday.:MM:

Monin... :coffee:........... trees in Maine are putting on a nice color show. Love this stage the best when there are green leaves all the way to bright red ones... come around a turn in the road and it looks like someone air brushed the edges of the canopies. Maybe... someone did... ;)
