Yup, main reason I'll never hunt in Wyo. again. Wardens are complete tools.

I'm sorry, one must be the dumbest tool in the shed to ticket a 17 year veteran of the police in the small crime ridden town right next to your childhood hometown. WWW is anal or OCD or whatever you call it about hunting regs. They had the regs/GIS/permission slips, way more than any other dumbass has all on the dash when I moved the truck. And..........ticket.............of all dipchit hunters out there breaking rules and poaching or whatever............THEM!!?!?!???!!

Theres more. The took a shot the next day outside the HMU ranch, it was low. They followed it and it jumped the flipping fence back onto the ranch. A couple hours later, the good rancher brother called them back. The had a truck possee for the poor antelope that consisted of the 3 vehicles, -the rancher, WWW & friend, and the ranch foreman to do right by the poor thing from an inaccuate hit. The good brother ranch owner ranted and raved about what a )(*&&^%W$#%$^&* that particular game warden is. I guess this is his 3rd year out here and has everybody pizzed off, including the HMU lessees.

Wonder if the "good" rancher would be willing to approach that wardens supervisor, phone call or in person?
Did they ever find the goat?

    Yes and no.

OH, missed part of the story. The game warden ticketed them on the good ranchers land, he was standing there with them!!!! I guess he just kept repeating to the dumbass game warden "they are with me today" several times. Rancher has had trivial run ins with THIS particular warden several times since he got here 3 years ago.

They did, after 4 hours of chasing and circling the wagons on him he jumped the fence to a private property not part of the HMU program. After wasting too much time to meet and issue the tickets that morning while they should have been tracking the GD goat, the rancher hates the game wardern and WWW & friend were wary. They called the other owner, no reply. IDK, the boys told me it was a leg/shoulder wound, I vaguely remember something when I was able to pull back a bow about going for the heart or liver ish whatever, and the arrow was low on this one. That would make sense since he covered miles and jumped fences etc but I also know they tell white lies for obvious reasons to me. I got a minute alone with the LEO friend, he said that if the orig good rancher saw it he would put it down but a big possibility it would be ok for quite awhile in the quest for harem.

This just reaffirms my vow not to hunt in Wyo. again. For anyone thinking of hunting anything in Wyo., go through a licensed guide or be prepared to deal with this type of crap. Been there, done that.
As far as the goat goes, if they drop in that sage, you can walk right past them @ 10 feet and never see them. Tell WWW to rest easy.
edit- My guys will be near you working for the next 18 months, got another Brush Creek job.

Yeah, that whole story sounds messed up. Just wrong on the party of the warden. Around here, the land owner can essentially make the wardens word null n the courts eyes. Now, being that the "offenders" are from out of state, they bank on it that they'll just pay the fine. Crock of poop.

Not very wise from the standpoint of trying to attract out of state hunters.

Caffeine going in. I have the next couple days off. :rootintootin:

Everything around here is soaked from the rain though. Looks like I’ll be doing some inside work today. Hopefully cleaning the garage and working on a couple of small building projects. If I don’t get pulled away from that I’ll snap some pics of them.

Have fun and stay safe hoarders.

Thunder, lightning and threats of tornadoes with lots of rain last night. It’s foggy and humid this morning, as it has been since forever. When will the dry fall weather get here?

Are there any F250 or truck gurus/mechanics here?

My radio quit working the other day. Right after I had my son clean interior. Not sure if he had anything to do with it though.

I pulled fuse box cover and swapped the “not used” 5 fuse for the 5 radio fuse. No difference.

    Any suggestions?

There is another fuse box under the hood on the drivers side.

    Ohhhhh MasterMech ?

I think everything I own that has a drain plug needs an oil change. Truck, van, quad, splitter, tiller, mower.

I don't mind changing oil on everything but the quad....it is a total PITA and $$. Holds 5 quarts of expensive oil, plus an expensive filter. Remove a skid plate, two drain plugs, and a canister filter that you have to hold your mouth just right to get put back together.

f250 did you check the wiring harness to the back of the radio? and what year is truck? There is a problem with the time delay relay on the gauge circuit board cluster on the current line of super duties from about 97 on. normally when goes on the fritz it takes out radio, power windows and locks the gauge cluster as a whole - sometimes it is an intermittent problem making it even more flustrating. There are a couple chafing points one is the harness passing over the emergency brake lever assembly the other is in the steering column. The column typically takes out the cruise control. On some of the earlier models the is a leak in the cowling that then drips on the gem module under dash. There is another out front but that is mostly a no start deal.

Was supposed to happen at 2:18 today if I remember right. I've received nothing. Perhaps only for those who have smart phones rather than dumb phones.

I'm pretty certain I can get someone a good deal on the compressed wood blocks if interested. Seen at a local gas station today.
